I am just trying to help the biblical narrative out.
The biblical narrative has a lot more problems than fossils.
Cain was supposedly the first human born, at the time of his birth the only humans in existence were him and his parents. Later Eve gave birth again and he got a little brother. Many year later he killed him went to the "Land Of Nod", found a wife and built a city.
Really? Where did the wife come from? Why build a city when the number of people on the planet is in single figures?
Only a complete moron would take the story literally, and indeed, most Christians don't. Only the silly extremist ones who think that words in a book written 2000 years ago are more accurate than the actual evidence before our eyes.
Given that they didn't exist, thw question is irrelevant.
Why didn't they exist?
Thats like saying Jesus didn't!
They may not have been created in the way that is mentioned, but I think they did Exist

Michaels answer to everything is to remove all border controls. The guy is a fool - and everyone knows it.
It makes me laugh when Monza puts him in his place. She makes Bill look like a pussycat.
