it apparently cannot work out that I meant “the”.
It only knows what it's been taught, and it was evidently taught by a silly aunt.

If it was reported in a newspaper/magazine, Kino, it is already in 'public domain'. Did you try the link I gave you - to our National Archives? I have always found them to be most helpful.
Yup - Still Waiting for a Reply.

Also messaged Time/Life and still Waiting for a Reply.

He certainly looks like One Tough Kid. I am even wondering if he ended up joining the Army and having a successful Military Career.

Maybe he even went on to becoming involved with the Secret Service Agency or a Policeman whose activities are Classified Secrets.

That would explain why his Activities since then may be getting kept Confidential.

You're certainly looking like the complete dick that you always do.
Please note that any abuse in this post is both intentional and deserved.

Anyone that feels the need to further point out that it contains abuse is clearly a total fucking moron who's also insulting YOUR intelligence by pointing out the bleeding obvious as if you were too fucking dumb to notice it.

This has been a public service annoncement by Fork Me. Have a nice fucking day.

Have not had any response from British Archives or Time/Life but I found a Link that show the contents of every Life Magazine ever published:
    https://books.google.ca/books?id=3UE...issues_r&cad=1

On an afternoon when I have Sweet F/A to do, I can go through all the 1940s editions until I find the one with the Photo that I am interested in.

I would start with January 41 as it was in 1941 that the Battle of Britain started and go from there.

The Legendary Picture of the St. Peters Cathedral surrounded by Smoke first appeared in the January 21st 1941 Edition of Life Magazine.
