    Higher dimensions innit? An infinitely long line can be completely contained within a finite two dimensional plane. An example is the Koch Snowflake if you want to look it up. By extension of the same mathematical principle, an infinite two dimensional area can be contained in a finite three dimensional space and so on. The TARDIS can therefore be infinite in any number of dimensions provided it is completely contained within a manifold of at least one dimension more, my point here being that the Koch Snowflake, although infinite in a limited sense, nevertheless has a clear, obvious and easily defined centre, namely the geometric centre of the circle which contains it.

    <snipped some theoretical bollox>

    Nah, it can't be that clever. They would have mentioned it so they could show off if they were being that clever

    I have simply pointed out that there is a sound mathematical basis for asserting that something infinite can have a centre. I do not claim that Steven Moffat is familiar with the mathematics and I would be astonished if it turns out he is. He is just a story teller, and not a very good one.

    kinda a boring formula show without any mystery or connection to an extended thread. What point did this writer start? things were really good up to rivers death. Maybe Im pushing it but I expected a new overture to start by now. Except who Clara Really is. it would be nice to see that develop. I like this bit of fan fiction "What if Hermione Granger met The Doctor while using her Time Turner" could be a great crossover if JK would work with it.

    Have we seen enough of the doctor's dark side?
    Is Clara smarter than the doctor?

    Well, it is, because what exists that can be infinite in such a way?

    I was really disappointed with that episode. The next one looks more promising - I prefer the ones with a historical storyline.

    The TARDIS.

    Oh, hang on, it's not real is it? So you're objecting to something fictional on the grounds that it doesn't exist.
