I was watching a YouTube video featuring Tom Daley and in it he showed off his Grand piano but said no one in the house could play it.
So I assume it's an expensive ornament.
I don't think I would want a Grand Piano unless I was on my way to virtuosity.

Not Jack Sparrow &c, I mean the real ones.
Just been watching a fascinating documentary on C5 about Port Royal, the pirate city that sank in 1692.
Jamaica sits directly over a tectonic fault line and the city was lost due to earthquake, but it turns out nearly all of the sunken buildings are perfectly preserved because the ground liquefied and everything just dropped straight down. The program was mostly about how new technology has been used to construct a virtual 3d map of the city, and it occurred to me that CGI could be used to make a really accurate historical drama film.
(I know what you're thinking, Scrot, and I'm tempted to write it but maybe too similar to "The Fires Of Pompeii")
I personally think that contradictions in the bible undermine it but I don't think that means it has no value.
I was just listening to an aggressive atheist on YouTube trying to undermine the whole bible based on negative things said in the bible like the defence of slavery.
But I don't see that you need to throw out the whole book because parts of it are wrong.
You could apply this to an old science text book that has outdated theories in it.
I think literalism is the main source of problems.
Being between fundamentalist theists and fundamentalist atheists is like being between a rock and a hard place.
