The Infinite Past
The past being infinite does not seem to make sense and makes reality seem impossible. But there doesn't seem to be anything stopping the past being infinite.

But then how can you move forward with an infinite past to traverse?

The only solution I can think of is that everything is eternal and has always...

Arguments against Having children.
It really disturbs me how people respond to this issue.

There is huge amounts of suffering which was all avoidable if people didn't have children and yet people are willing to tolerate it and coexist with it and downplay it.

People don't take seriously the fact that large numbers of people on the internet say...

Who is the more dangerous man?
This musing comes from yet another argument with Perrin, where he once again attempts to erase human truism's that have existed since time immemorial, and replace them with his clichedleftywankerist pish.

Who is the more dangerous man?

The man who holds an image of himself up of the highest ideals, and aspires...

It really disturbs me how people respond to this issue.

There is huge amounts of suffering which was all avoidable if people didn't have children and yet people are willing to tolerate it and coexist with it and downplay it.

People don't take seriously the fact that large numbers of people on the internet say they don't enjoy life and say it is a burden and up to a million people commit suicide each year (which i would not call a ringing endorsement of life).

So we are talking about real suffering not whining as people like to characterize it.

But I will get into this more in further post.

This could be a very long thread because I am going to run through many different arguments against procreating.

Just been to a talk and Q and A with these two at the Sage in Gateshead. David Olusoga recently did "A house through time" featuring a house not far from where i lived when i first moved to Newcastle. He'd previously done one in Liverpool. Absolutely fascinating series if anyone saw it. Dan Jackson's just released a book on the "History of the Northumbrians" which was equally fascinating.
