a very sad and emphatic verse, could be better lengtened, otherwise 6/10

One thing we'd have to do if this is implemented, is make it crystal clear to people that if they post a critique in a no critique thread, it will be deleted. This is vital because some critiques take people ages to compile and they won't be too chuffed if it just gets zapped.

Also there's the thorny question of what actually constitutes a critique!

These are points the poetry mods are going to have to mull over before we bring this in. There ned to be clear guidelines or else it will be a mess.

Just delete the critique and leave the post Mark.

How about a no critique (moderated for unsuitable content) poetry forum.

I am quite sure that the many good poets we have on this forum, have no objection to a little bit of constructive criticism or advice, providing it is not done in the manner we have seen on this forum up till now.

Why dont we simply add NO CRITIQUE to any point of view we care to make? IE

Dorkface is an arsehole NO CRITIQUE

BTW, if you think it's contentious I'll just call it a poem. IE

    "Dordie is an arsehole
I feel it in my soul" NO CRITIQUE

I am not an expert, by any means, Reg, but that is a most unusual poem.

I am sure that BE will be able to point out the deficiencies in it.

I thought it was rather poignant. Would you like me to write you one?

    Yell Yell Yell,
    Colonel Kernel.

    NO CRITIQUE
