Interest quote from a newspaper here:

"Britain faces shortages of fuel, food and medicine, a three-month meltdown at its ports, a hard border with Ireland and rising costs in social care in the event of a no-deal Brexit, according to an unprecedented leak of government documents that lay bare the gaps in contingency planning".

Which left-wing rag is this? The Mirror? The Independent? The Guardian?

Nope - it's in the Times, owned by Brexit-supporting Rupert Murdoch.

    Nice Fred
I believe there was a TV program intended to keep the masses entertained - I gather it was called, "Neighbours from hell".
I never watch such low rubbish but I understand the idea was decent people have a good old moan about lowlife people living close to them. The EU strikes me as a neighbour from hell, unless you like the guys next door dictating to you with rules such as:
    • You have to let everyone's dogs shit on your garden
    • You have to pay taxes to us
    • You can't talk to anyone except people we say are okay
    • You can't use what shops you like - You have to use the ones the bastard next door tells you to.

Isn't that roughly what the EU does, and charges you a lot of money to do it?
If you don't like your next door neighbours, you have the option of moving. A nation cannot do that. We have to live with the countries that are our neighbours. It is duly noted that you don't like the French, or even one of the constituent nations of the UK, Scotland. So I suppose you have got away from them by moving to the other side of the world. But just don't tell people back in the UK, what they should do. If you moved into a new house and you kept getting messages from the former owner trying to tell you what to do, I think you'd find it rather irritating.

Didn't Theresa May shovel 192BN into Brussels? What was that for?

    Lord Ponsonby
Why would you of all people be in favour of a capitalist club?

I'm not but I do see the future being a bit rosymalosy

If Brexit goes through then it is likely the outcomes will be exactly the eopposite of what Brexiteers want..eg A nice cosy united UK, a powerful England/UK, we will be skint, 'bring on Brexi!t!' I say,

    This is you lot

WTF is rosymalosey when it's at home. I mean I can gather what it is but it's a bit cringywingy.
Amusing smilies aside, you ought to realise that beneath what may sometimes appear to be banter, I do in fact despise you. Don't be flattered, my contempt is free to all lefties who support the indoctrination of children. ~ Memnoch, Dec 2014.
