Default Gulf Of Mexico Dead Zone

Looks like the amount of Fertilizers that they put into the Farms of the Great Plain Farming Belt of Central Mid West USA has put too much Nitrogen and Phosphorous into the Waters surrounding New Orleans area of Louisiana:

Another Instance of Over Population of the Earth causing Damage upon the Earth.

There is an episode of Nature Of Things which shows how the same thing has been happening to our Lake Winnipeg.

Too much Fertilizer comes in from the surrounding Farmlands putting too much Nitrogen and Phosphorous in the Water.

The article says: "The size of the dead zone fluctuates seasonally, as it is exacerbated by farming practices."

Note it says exacerbated, not caused. Naturally occurring dead zones larger than the one in the gulf have been known about for at least a hundred years. Yes, pollution makes it worse but the failure to mention that the origin is often natural is an attempt to mislead people into believing that it's all man made.
