Does the breakdown of the quantum superposition imply the existence of a 'cosmic mind' or what many people would call 'God'.

According to quantum theory the observer 'breaks down' the superposion or waveform, but conscious beings never always exisited.

No, because the waveform is collapsed by the observer. God - if there is one - presumably sees all of them but the mortal observer chooses one regardless. I don't think quantum theory, or any other branch of physics, has anything convincing to say about the existence of God one way or the other. By the way, the fact that some hard-of-thinking zealots are claiming that the alleged discovery of what someone unfortunately decided to call the "God Particle" is proof of God says more about the eagerness of some people to be fooled even when no one was trying to fool them than it says about the nature of the universe.

According to quantum theory the observer 'breaks down' the superposion or waveform, but conscious beings never always exisited.
And there are those, I kid you not, who for that very reason believe history didn't exist until we came along and described it. Bonkers if you ask me.

Here is an interesting example of a mind over matter effect.

The reverse placebo effect or nocebo effect. https://www.pharmaceutical-journal.c...irstPass=false

In the 1970's a man was diagnosed with cancer and died a few months later but on autopsy they discovered he didn't have cancer.

It is "bone-pointing". In South Africa, (and probably other places) a bad person would be taken by the village leaders to the Shaman. If the case was very serious (e.g.rape, theft, murder, -of another native person-). Then the Shaman would point a bone at the accused, and say "You will die". In most cases the accused dies within a few days.
This is practised by modern doctors in this country and many others today, but in a slightly different form (eg. your post).

Fascinating. What does it have to do with the thread topic?
