Why would you believe something was curved that gave no indication being curved?
The human eye isn't perfect and, for example, if I look at a wall I don't know whether it is curved or not.

    I don't "believe" either.

It is not just the human eye. We can also feel that a surface is flat.

Like I mentioned earlier something made of many straight lines can looked curved.

I think you have to differentiate between a genuine smooth curve and something that is straight lines going in different directions.

Curved space is supposed to undermine the parallel postulate but I think the problems with curves is that they prematurely turn into circles. I am not sure at what lengths the curvature of space is supposed to manifest.

    Reality is crazy.

Way to completely miss the point.

    I'm done here.

Trying to discuss science with you is like trying to discuss colour with a blind man.

I think that you definitely do not have to be a physicists to speculate about reality and your experiences.

It was a physicist who thought flying machines were impossible (Lord Kelvin).

    http://scienceworld.wolfram.com/biography/Kelvin.html

"Another example of his hubris is provided by his 1895 statement "heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible" (Australian Institute of Physics), followed by his 1896 statement, "I have not the smallest molecule of faith in aerial navigation other than ballooning...I would not care to be a member of the Aeronautical Society."

Although it helps to know a bit of physics if you're going to presume to make pronouncements on it. I absolutely guarantee you've never carried out any kind of experiment or made any robust empirical study of anything remotely within the field of physics in your life, and you've certainly never read any of the peer-reviewed literature, yet you miraculously know that everything learned by better people than you for the last 3,000 years is wrong. You truly are a force to be reckoned with.
    YOU LOST. AGAIN.

Most people have not read and ignore most academic papers.

Popular science broadcasting is asinine, lowest common denominator simplifications of difficult concepts.

Resort to consensus is very unintelligent.

Most people don't pronounce on subjects they know nothing about.

That's because it's popular rather than academic. It's aimed at the layperson. Still way over your head though.

Resort to consensus is very unintelligent.
Says a man whose opinions all come from fillosoffical required reading.
    YOU LOST. AGAIN.
