The point of this thread was to point out your dilemma, nothing more, nothing less. I was merely thinking of the Shakespeare lines (in respect of your outrage) and how it dissipated.....sorry...disappeared...when the vote went your way, especially given that you, more than most it seems, appear to have a very crucial interest in us staying in the EU.
And as I have explained, there is no "dilemma". If any MP gets into trouble, then whether they should lose their seat depends on the known circumstances of the case, not on how they might vote in some as yet unknown future Commons division, on which you would have to consult Mystic Meg. I'm not sure which bit of this you have difficulty in grasping.

Actually, Reg's argument reminds me of Henry Tandey, whom most of you will not have heard of (and I'll be honest that I had to google his name myself). He was the most decorated British private soldier of World War 1. However, he is generally known for something else entirely. He had a German soldier in his sights but did not fire. He later said "I couldn't shoot a wounded man".

    The German soldier's name?

    Wait for it ...

    Adolf Hitler.

Well done, you can chalk that up as your life's biggest achievement.

It isn't, but it is understandable why you would see it as such.

As usual, nobody noticed that you’d made one.
