Default Impulse eBay purchase - Nostalgia!

When I was very young I had a first generation games console. It had 10 games, 8 of which were a variation of Pong and two of which were a target shooter.

I've just been doing some searching to try and find the exact model I had, not only have I found it, but I've found one on sale on eBay for under 20 quid (although the postage to Cyprus doubles that.

I've bought it. What are the odds that if I can get it working it will be a lot shitter then I remember?

Btw, it was an Interstate 1110

It makes me laugh when Monza puts him in his place. She makes Bill look like a pussycat.

Already got one. I have an old CRT TV that I use with my N64. It'll work on that.

I've got an Amiga 1200 in the loft plus loads of games and utilities. It was my intention to get it up and running, thought it might be interesting...and maybe of interest to the kids...I also thought it might be worth something...then I went to Tynemouth market when visiting my brother a few months back..there were stalls inundated with the stuff...

This one's rarer, it the only one I've seen since the 70s, but it was one of many similar ones made by different manufacturers but using the same chip. It isn't worth anything financially, the price I paid for it is about all it's worth. As I said it's just impulse based on nostalgia.

I also have a working Nintendo 64 in the flat, which I still use as some of its games still stand the test of time. Again, I doubt it's worth anything.

Wow. It actually works on the flat screen through the normal aerial socket.
Which is surprising because my Nintendo 64 won't tune in using the same socket!
