You've had dog. Laup told me just before I threw a stick for him.
You threw a stick for LAUP? I hope Joe wasn't too jealous.

In the video...seems to be a body of opinion that the audio is fake.

Sadly, yes. I did a bit of Plutoing after Nick said it was very old, and found that, as well as being very old, it's fake.

I don't know if the actual footage is fake. It's very well staged if so, and thus still impressive just for that. It's the audio that's suspect.

Yes, fair point - 5% had unsatisfactory levels of bacteria, and that doesn't necessarily make you sick.

As for 5 star hotels and ice cream vans - yes, I do avoid them, but not for hygiene reasons.
It's also worth pointing out that the unsatisfactory level is deliberately set way below what's actually safe to give a huge margin. Most people's home kitchens would fail and yet most people don't get food poisoning.
Also your article was speaking mostly about the salads not the doner meat so it's irrelevant to Scrotnig's point anyway.
Doner meat is actually pretty safe. The spices in it protect from bacterial growth anyway.

2 more things about your article.

    1) although it does say just under 5% were unsatisfactory less than 0.5% were at a level that's potentially dangerous.
    2) the articles cites tests performed in 2007 before the widespread "scores on the doors" scheme had time to take effect.
Please note that any abuse in this post is both intentional and deserved.

Anyone that feels the need to further point out that it contains abuse is clearly a total fucking moron who's also insulting YOUR intelligence by pointing out the bleeding obvious as if you were too fucking dumb to notice it.

This has been a public service announcement by Fork Me. Have a nice fucking day.

No, apparently the footage actually was of a woman going berserk, but it had no audio - so somebody decided to dub it
