I'm very lazy and you're clearly very clever, and maybe watch more TV, so better to just explain it
His original post saying "I've got more money than you" was a dig at you. He was suggesting you were bragging. It's that simple and it's that pathetic. He's attempting to make big deal out of some lower 6th type snidy remark. What a sad bastard to think it's clever.

Perhaps I should ask the question again

Has anyone considered massively increasing the buying value of their pension by moving to a country where prices are very low?

    sounds tempting.
A lot of people do it.
My combined pensions some to more than I was expecting, about enough to be sort of okay in the UK, but I'll end up with four times more than most locals will get for working, maybe more when I've checked out an old pension from years ago. I'll do that on Monday.
Basically, the choice is exist, or exist in luxury on a tropical beach sipping coconut milk whilst relaxing in the sun.

A lot of people do it, but I'm amazed a lot more don't.

It took a chronic alcoholic on his second bottle of vodka to explain it to you, but you got there in the end.

Believe it or not, living in squalid conditions under a tin roof in a place with open sewers and litter strewn streets is not everyone's cup of tea. But hey..... it's cheap.
