    Shouldn't the Tories be a bit more open about their agenda, and point out that if you're old (no matter that you risked your life in the war, paid your taxes and national insurance and always did the right thing), you're no longer a viable economic unit of any use to the powers-that-be, and it might be better to pop down to the local vet and have a lethal injection to put you out of your misery? They could even give you a hundred quid towards it as an incentive.
