Cool Book authors you really disliked, and would never read again.

    Stephen King...Dan Brown....

Utter crap with no depth nor originality. The kind of books that council house dwellers probably find exciting.

(and no doubt believe to be 'true'... )
I do not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

I have never had any desire to read anything by Catherine Cookson, even though people say it's good. It just doesn't seem to appeal to me at all.

I have not read most books because just a glance at them was sufficient to see they were utterly useless.

I find fantasy books for adults particularly galling.

Anyone who writes about horse racing should be shot.
    The Tendrils of insanity
History in the crunching of dead leaves
The ghost of a tyrant Knight
    Haunting the architecture

I am ashamed to admit this - but - I once read a Barbara Cartland novel! Mind you, I was in hospital and out of my wits on anaesthetic at the time.

I know - sad isn't it? But I am getting over it now.

No, not exactly, but the cats were a great help!

    "The Satanic Verses".

Generally agreed to be a turgid read, and deliberately setting out to cause offence to Muslims.
I offered, he unilaterally changed the terms of the offer at short notice, I declined the changes, and he's been w**king over it ever since.
