I've figured out what they mean when they're on both sides of the car at the same time: It means "I am parking illegally or driving on the wrong side of the road and generally being a selfish bastard, but I've got these flashing lights on so it's OK".

Of course not. The majority voted to Leave the EU primarily because it is undemocratic. It therefore stands to reason that its supporters won't accept the democratic result... it is alien to their psyche.
And if Remain had won, would they be calling protesters undemocratic? We'll never know because they LOST, as in didn't win, were defeated, failed to get their way, are subject to the will of the majority, etc etc etc :D
I'm a bit sceptical about the idea of slipstreaming at that speed. I sat behind a truck as close as I dare for about half an hour and it made no noticeable difference to my fuel consumption. Also, the concentration required is bloody exhausting.
I'm talking about when they're side by side, the one in the middle lane deliberately taking as long as possible to go by. The resulting Mexican wave of brake lights is about twenty miles long. Many truckers have told me they do it deliberately.
