I'm not objecting it, I'm merely labelling it as "theoretical bollox."

In what way is it theoretical? What object or process does the theory describe? What testable predictions emerge from it?

Well, what would you rather it be called? Abstract? Just plain old bollox?

I was assuming that there must be a theory that if such a thing were to exist, it would be infinite. I mean, there's no way of proving/disproving parallel worlds, but that's a valid scientific theory

I think scientists generally just make things up to suit themselves.

    Geometry.

Why? Because the Doctor says the TARDIS is infinite? What's 'Rule One'?

I wouldn't call it a valid theory. A good theory contains the minimum of assumptions and makes testable predictions. Parallel worlds fails on both counts because if they are actually parallel they can never be in contact with each other and therefore can't exchange information and thus can't be tested or even observed, which means all you have is assumption. If you had said "other realms within the multiverse" I might have been a bit less dismissive.

I think scientists generally just make things up to suit themselves.
Do you think Steven Moffat is a scientist?

So what do you call it then? A fabrication?

Isn't that what a lot of science is?

    Just downloaded and watch.
I'm unsure I like the new doctor but that bird he's with is a little cracker.
The dresses make her look sexy and that cute little nose is a winner.
