Heres how to sort it.
Small knife in public, 3 yrs minimum jail sentence, no leniency.
Large knife, 7 yrs minimum jail sentence, no leniency.
Attempt to use either on a person, 10 yrs minimum,no leniency.
Use it to harm someone, LIFE!
We fund the extra prison places by cutting foreign aid, by stopping foreign healthcare tourists, by stopping illegal immigrants gaining asylum, by cutting diversity jobs & middle management in the NHS.
Neither Labour nor the Tories will do any of this though.

The last three days of March, which are often cold and stormy, are said to have been borrowed from April.
"March borrowed from April
three days, and they were ill.
The first was snow and sleet,
the next was cold and weet.
The third was sic a freeze
the birds' nebs stuck to the trees"

One of the flagship policies of the Tories has been privatisation of public services. It means more efficiency, more competition, and higher quality. We know this because Scrot tells us that public workers are lazy skivers, while private companies are hard working and efficient.
How fortunate we are, then, to be benefitting from such a wonderful policy. Since showing those lazy skiving layabouts working for water boards what for, we now have a far more efficient service for our water supply. Instead of littering the countryside with unsightly sewage works, efficient private companies simply dump raw sewage into the sea and rivers, or deliver the raw sewage direct to your own home when floods occur and shit filled rivers burst their banks and come into your living room.
Of course, pouring raw steaming shit into the Thames, or your lounge, doesn't come cheap, so it's only fair that customers benefitting from this free raw sewage should pay a little more - a mere 40% more - for this service.
I think the Tory Party could win this election if they focus on the huge benefits that water privatisation has brought.

Most people in online Forums like this and in community Facebook groups (who say stuff) generally rant about how shit Local Government is. This is how the Tories sort this. They create a "development authority" transfer much of the Local Authorities assets (your and mine) over to this un-elected body, head it up with a Mayor (which can be a good thing) and give them powers to bypass local planning laws which the Local Authority exercises on our behalf.
Ben Houchen (Tory Mayor) (who will be hoofed out in May) wanted to create a freeport in Middlesbrough. What that means is that a given area would be free from laws that govern how we operate in the rest of the country. Employment laws, immigration laws, tax laws, planning laws , health and safety laws, would all be up for grabs. In other words Middlesbrough would become a state within a state that could exploit who the fuck it wants. Naturally, this would spread elsewhere. Fortunately I think that ideas been fucked off. But the Tories are still at it, screwing us.

Re your recommendation to solve my audio problems - the 'Boombox' arrived today. It is quite small - but - it is BRILLIANT, and exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.
