The Lynx The lynx is one of my favorite helicopters because it can fly upside down, do areobatics, an excellent aircraft. The RAF have a display team with 2 Lynx called the "Black Cats" They do an amazing display and fly dangerously close! Every Airshow I attend, they always participate :)

Gazelle. The RAF Use to have these, I don't know if they still do. But I know one of the RAF's flying display teams have a few of these with a Lynx. Used for training and other missions, but don't see many about anymore. Everytime I see one at airshows, it's a static display.

V-22 Osprey Taking over the Chinook in time to come. This project started in 1991, but they've had so many problems with this, tests actually killing pilots etc, theres been quite a long delay, but it's here now, not many in the UK, as it's american, But it always flys at Farnborough International because it's not just an airshow, the sell, buy planes, etc. A beautiful aircraft, the engines can rotate. From a distance it looks like a normal plane! Love it!

The Merlin Also took part in the Commando Assault at RNAS Yeovilton down in Yeovil. Amazing helicopter I'm quite shocked how the pilots can through it about like they do! But when you hear the engines on this beast, it's watch out, Merlin about!

Another beautiful Chinook. Amazing helicopter - when it took part in an Commando Assault at RNAS Yeovilton it was amazing, It carried a tank. And the moves this beast can do are quite amazing, you wouldn't think it from such a big chunk helicopter.

Chinook... They usually do a Chinook display at airshows and to think that they can nearly fly this big giant upside down! Still used in the RAF, and some of them are based in the UK, RAF ODIHAM. They do private airshows there sometimes. It's ashame that the V-22 Osprey will take this beautiful aircrafts place in time to come.
