   That is either a six spot or five spot Burnet Moth - couldn't tell which as it has it's wings folded. It is an extremely poisonous creature, to birds anyway, as it's body contains a high concentration of Cyanide. It is found throughout England, mainly in woodlands, during June and July.

   Hey, That's great thanks for that. The place I took the picture is not too close to woodlands but there are woos nearby. These beasties seem to favour clover from what I was seeing
