About me: I am studying for a career in Chinese medicine. Ive been studying holistic health (herbology and massge) since I was a teenager. I study esoteric philosophy, especially eastern an indigenous traditions. Politically I am a Libertarian Socialist and enjoy reading stuff by Noam Chomsky and others. I like industrial, punk, electronic, acoustic, experimental and improvised music.

Just curious to see if there are any interesting discussions aroun here.

Im also a tripper...probably the reason i began my studies in herbalism. I am very interested in plants.

There would be but, we have a member, called Sock Puppet, with unerring regularity, he dominates and ruins every thread.

If you can work around him, you might find some interesting topics. Good hunting.

Don't worry, Dordie and the member concerned have a "personal issue" going on that's been rumbling on for years. It erupts in threads sometimes but you shouldn't have any problems with either of them.

Some of the discussions and debates on here are "serious", others are less so. Same with the members, some prefer serious, some prefer fun. It takes all sorts, but we try and cater to everyone as far as possible.

Some people's opinions are very forthright and there are no punches pulled, that can take a bit of getting used to, but it certainly makes for interesting discussions.

Posts made are my personal opinions and not necessarily the opinions of BC Forums.
