Recently I had a spiced apple sponge with delicate hints of cinnamon and ginger. There were small pieces of sweet apple shot through the soft sponge. The whole thing was drowned in a beautiful sticky toffee sauce, and topped with warm custard.

It was dagnam yumlicious! Even Yoji liked it.

Sadly I don't have a recipie, but I think I might just recreate it. Yoji would need his with chocolate sauce instead of custard, but I think I could manage that.

I think some kind of brandy drink would go down nicely after it.

Any other suggestions for winter warmers? xxx

It's not the winning that counts... It's the taking APART... xxx
