Well done Greens! Now the biggest party on the council, even winning in traditional working class areas, and not just the Guardian reading ones.

People, especially the woke, the left and identity politics advocates, like to bash Britain and talk about the evils of colonialism and slavery etc.

But they completely forget or flagrantly
ignore the millions of Britons that have done good things over the centuries. We are not a monolith. People protested the slave trade from the moment it began in this country.

We have doctors and nurses saving lives every day, innovators and artists. Cleaners keeping hospitals and streets clean so we don't get the bubonic plague again. These people are from all ethnic backgrounds as well.

So if YOU don't like this country go and live with the Taliban. They don't beleive in progress either.

I disagree with the rules demanding ID to vote, but if someone has to be inconvenienced by it I'm glad it was the numpty in charge of the government that introduced it.
