I expected more. Disappointing.
No mention of a replacement for the Renters Reform Bill the Tories dropped. Seems like Starmer’s happy for renters to continue being exploited.
Scrapping road building programmes to fund pothole repairs is a bit underwhelming as well.

Saudi Arabia Just ended agreement to conduct all Oil transactions in USD.
This has to count as the most significant milestone in global monetary policy since Nixon 'temporarily suspended' the exchange of USD into Gold, in 1971.
The deed is literally unreported in mainstream media, but this guy gives a reasonably good account of it, up to a point.
Make no mistake, this is what all the shit going on the world is ultimately all about.

I've had to have the heating on this morning.
Anyone would think this "global boiling" thing was some sort of con.

I have an Epson EcoTank printer which is normally well behaved and brilliant!
Two days ago it had a paper jam. I consulted the beautifully illustrated instructions on how to deal with this, and cleared it - or so I thought. The next print request bought up the message 'paper jam' - although there was none to be seen. Unplugged everything - let it sulk for half an hour to clear it's memory buffers. Reconnected everything - tried again - the computer screen says it is printing OK, but nothing is happening. The printer screen says it is 'out of paper' although there is about 20 sheets in there.
Any advice would be welcome, please.
