Thank you so much Kino, that is a great help.

In the film "Sayonara" Marlon Brando kept repeating "Ohaiu Gozaimas" - my spelling is probably wrong - and wondered what it meant ?

Ohaiyo Gozaimasu = Good Morning

I saw that movie.

I only got about 1/3 the way through watching it when it started Boring the Shit out of me, so I switched it off.

I checked my Dictionary and it appears that there is no Japanese Word for a "Bomber".

The best I could get is "Bakudanshorihan" which means "Bomb Dispossal Expert".

My Dictionary does have "Bakugekiki", which refers to a Bomber Aircraft (ie: Lancaster Bomber).

So I will make up something that will denote a Evil Bomber, and that is:

"Bakudan no Akutonin" which literally means "Villain with a Bomb".

Japanese vowels are pronounced like baby vowels. AH, EH, OH, IH UH. That's a handy thing to know. The way it's written here in Romanji is fairly close to how it's spoken.

For example, we say Tokyo - Tow-kee-oh. It's pronounced Tok-eh-oh.

I hope that helps. xxx

Konnichiwa to All:

Last night, I went to the Winter Festival of Lights at the Van Dusen Gardens to attend a Meetup of the Vancouver Japanese Language Meetup Group.

Here is a copy of my Review that I wrote for their Meetup Group. In the process of writing the Review, I learned two more Japanese Words that I had not know before. They were "Cape" and "Site".

Site: Basho

Cape: KEpU

The Review goes:

Utsukushii na Akari wa Arimashita! Shashin San Hai wa Torimashita. Message Board no use ni Watashi no Shashin wa Misemashoo. Watashi no Zaimoku Tsue wa Mottemashita soshite Kuro Iro Kepu wa Ketaimashita. Zennennagara ni, Atatashi no Aimono wa Metsuketeimasen Deshita. Sorekara Van Dusen Niwa no mawari ni Arukimashita soshite kono Utsukushii no Basho Miteimashita. Kono Niwa no Iri Guchi no soba ni Onna Hoshisha Security-Nin wa Nihonjin to Imashita. Kanojo to issho ni Renshu Hanashiteimashita. Rai Nin Ni Getsu, Kanojo wa Nihon de Kaerimasu. Kanojo wa Kawaii Deshita.

The Lights were Beautiful! I took Three Pictures. I will be Posting those Pictures onto the Meetup Message Board shortly. I was the guy using the Wooden Walking Stick and wearing the Black Cape. Unfortunately, I could not find the Meetup, so I just walked around and enjoyed the Sites. Then at the Garden Entrance Gate, there was a Volunteer Security Girl who was Japanese. I enjoyed doing some Japanese Language Practise with her. She was Cute.
