Where do people get these less usual plants from? I don't see them around our way.

Yes, it certainly is. I'd like a bigger garden to spend more time in. The problem is that I'm getting this place ready for sale, which usually means low maintenance, patios, pots and a few grasses. That's what the punter wants these days.
Do you have any ideas what I might grow in the famous conservatory now it's finished? I want something that is quite tollerant to dry conditions as I get fed up watering every day.
I've got some of those things that look like pineapple plants from Ikea. I've also got a few cacti. How about some kind of African Violet?

I found a plant i liked the look of some years ago, it took me another year to actually find one in the local garden centres, and i went visiting quite a few i can tell you
