"We expect that a worm attack similar to Nimda will eventually be created using this vulnerability as a primary mechanism," said TruSecure's alert. "Such a broad 'zero day' attack could be orchestrated as soon as 7-10 days, and is likely in the next month."

Oh for the love of god... Iraq can launch weapons of mass destruction in 45 minutes, why the hell would it take an organised group of crackers 7-10 days to launch an exploit? the code has already been written for it... they just have to find a launch system. *thinks* oooh, i think that's what blair was saying just last year.

Give it until the end of the year, when there has been a 300% rise in linux usage, and i'd love to see a 'possible worm virus' come with so much propoganda... are you gonna exec on my box? awww, no +x privs? die whore. Me thinks microsoft has whored itself just a little too much. Hidden Administrator account on Xp with a blank password... anyone who has ever used the NT/2000 o/s knows about the admin account and how it's pass defaults to blank. Christ almighty. The media makes me sick.

I need to add another thing...

"A "zero day" event is one in which an attack is launched almost immediately after a flaw is discovered."

Wrong, fucking media whore... an 0day event is something that is launched before the vendor is given notification. Suck my cock
